My fire rings feature multiple panels and a unique system of assembly that make it possible to snap them together for use and take back apart just as easily to store or take along when camping or boating. Check out the video below.
The rings come in 4 sizes. 27 Inch Diameter has 3 Panels, 36 Inch Diameter has 4 Panels, 45 Inch Diameter has 5 Panels, and 54 Inch Diameter has 6 Panels. As shown in the video below. All are just under 12 inches tall.
The flat panel fire pits also assemble and disassemble simply. The number of panels determines the size and shape. 4 panels make a 30 inch square, 5 panels make 41 inch pentagon, 6 panels a 52 inch hexagon, 7 panels a 62 inch heptagon, and 8 panels make a 78 inch octagon. As shown in the video below.
Both the round rings and flat panel pits are made from 12 gauge steel, which is nearly 1/8 inch thick, and share the same available images and text choices for personalization. If you are wanting some type of custom image, send me a message. I’ll see if it is something I can do.
I have been asked if I could make a taller fire ring. The quick answer is that it can be done, but would have be custom made, and will be considerably more expensive. It also would not be able to have the quick assembly system, so there would be bolts and nuts to attach the panels together. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions on that.
I use a different approach for the finish on my fire rings. There is no paint or coating that will stand up to direct exposure to fire. It will burn off and the ring will rust. The bad part is, it wont burn off evenly at first so it will look pretty splotchy. I have a process that gives the ring a rust patina, which I then brush off and spray with a clear sealer. The sealer makes it clean to the touch when first taken out of the box. (Especially important if you are giving it as a gift) Once in use the ring will develop a nice even rust layer and will last for many years of use.
